Our mission is to provide professional
inspection services and environmental testing in a timely
manner and of the highest quality to our valued customers
in the Front Range, Mountains and Western Slope of Colorado.
Our philosophy is simple:
We put ourselves in your shoes, treat our customers
as family, and respect your money like it was ours.
Tiger Home & Building Inspections was founded in
2000 by Andy Racuch and Joe DeLaurentis. They decided
to offer home inspection services to customers in Colorado
by combining Andy’s vast construction knowledge
and experience with Joe’s successful home inspection
model (he is running one of the largest home inspection
firms in the U.S.).
Today we have a team of top professionals ready to
serve you. We are not a franchise; nor are we a large
public corporation where personalized, customer service
can get overlooked in the drive for big profits. We
also don’t have the inherent limitations of a sole
practitioner.
We are the typical All-American small company: specialists
focused on excelling in their job, but seamlessly united
to exceed your expectations. We are dedicated to providing
the finest service possible.

Meet the team of professionals
from Tiger
All inspectors on the Tiger team perform
their inspections according to the standards of practice
and the code of ethics of ASHI, the American
Society of Home Inspectors.
 David Metzler - Owner/Inspector - Dave moved to Colorado in 1993 to enjoy the beauty of the Rocky Mountains. He was born and raised in Southern California and graduated college from the University of Arizona in Tucson.
After working for a new housing builder, Dave started a one man home inspection business based in the central mountains of Colorado in 2005. Wanting to expand his home inspection operation, Dave had the opportunity to purchase Tiger Home and Building Inspections in January 2008 from the founding members. Dave's goal has been to continue the excellent reputation that Tiger Home and Building Inspections has earned since 2000. Dave is a certified member of NACHI (National Association of Certified Home Inspectors).
In his free time between running the business and doing residential and commercial inspections, Dave can be found on the ski slopes in the winter and the golf course or on his mountain bike in the summer.
 Dean
Radueg - Home Inspector - Dean has extensive experience as a Property and Facility Manager for both residential homes and commercial buildings. He has been a business owner and sub-contractor in the building industry and has significant experience in residential remodeling. He is also a registered Real Estate Appraiser.
Dean has completed formal house inspection training/education and received his home inspection certification. He has performed over 700 inspections in Colorado. He is a certified inspector with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Dean is a member of the American Society of Home Inspectors (#246126) and performs all inspections according to ASHI standards.
 Kipp
Hamberger – Inspector - Kipp has been with
Tiger almost four years and has completed close to 1,400
inspections. He brings 33 years of construction knowledge
and experience to each of his inspections. His background
as a contractor, superintendent and project manager
in the residential and commercial building industries,
allows him to have an in-depth understanding of the
inspection process.
Kipp loves to camp and hike with his wife, Patti. He
also lives on the Eagle River and has been known to
get in a few minutes of fishing at the end of a busy
day.
 Dara
Delaney – Customer Service - Dara has worked
in many different aspects of the home buying process,
including a mortgage department, new home construction,
and with homeowners associations. She joined the Tiger
team in September 2006.
A native of Florida, Dara moved to Colorado with her
husband Steve and their yellow lab “Murphy”
to enjoy the beautiful Rocky Mountains. She enjoys snowboarding,
mountain biking, hiking, snow shoeing, skiing and just
breathing the fresh mountain air.
 Glenn
Erickson - Director of Marketing - Glenn is responsible
for developing and implementing strategies to promote
Tiger’s professional services to the real estate
community. He is also responsible for direct marketing
activities in a ten-county area.
Before joining Tiger, Glenn spent 25 years in the professional
services industry, most recently with an international
software sales and consulting organization. He had leadership
responsibilities for service delivery, practice management
and staff development.
Glenn enjoys skiing, biking, golfing, and hiking in
Colorado’s mountains with his wife, Carla. Whenever
possible, they like to visit their two sons, travel,
and add to their collection of Southwest Indian art.
