Dave Metzler, Owner
Dave moved to Colorado in 1993 to enjoy the beauty of the Rocky Mountains. He was born and raised in Southern California and graduated college from the University of Arizona in Tucson.
After working in the construction industry, Dave started a solo home
inspection business based in the central mountains of Colorado in 2005.
Wanting to expand his home inspection operation, Dave had the
opportunity to purchase Tiger Home and Building Inspections in January
2008 from the founding members. Dave’s goal has been to continue the
excellent reputation that Tiger Home and Building Inspections has earned
since 2000. Dave is a certified member of NACHI (National Association
of Certified Home Inspectors). Certification# NACHI08021502. In his free time between running the business and doing residential and commercial inspections, Dave can be found on the ski slopes in the
winter and the golf course or on his mountain bike in the summer.
Glenn Erickson, Director of Marketing
Glenn is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to promote Tiger’s professional services to the real estate community. He is also responsible for direct marketing activities in a ten-county area. Before joining Tiger, Glenn spent 25 years in the professional services industry, most recently with an international software sales and consulting organization. He had leadership responsibilities for service delivery, practice management and staff development. Glenn enjoys skiing, biking, golfing, and hiking in Colorado’s mountains with his wife, Carla. Whenever possible, they like to visit their two sons, travel, and add to their collection of Southwest Indian art.
Kipp Hamberger, Inspector
Kipp has been with Tiger for almost 10 years and has had the privilege of inspecting over 3000 homes and commercial properties. He brings 33 years of construction knowledge and experience to each of his inspections. His background as a contractor, superintendent and project manager in the residential and commercial building industries, allows him to have an in-depth understanding of all his inspections. Kreceived his certification from the National Association of Certified Home Inspectors (NACHI# 12013106)
Jeff 'JJ' Johns, Inspector
“JJ” retired from a career in Electrical Engineering to be able to live in the mountains full time. He has been a business owner and also has extensive experience in home remodeling. JJ has a dual certification from the National Association of Certified Home Inspectors (NACHI# 10041705) and has passed the National Home Inspector Examination, required by many states for certification. JJ and his wife, Laura, live in Dillon and are frequently seen skiing at Breckenridge and cycling around the mountains in the summer months.
Dean Radueg, Inspector
Extensive experience as a Property and Facility Manager for both residential and commercial buildings. Business owner and sub-contractor in the building industry with experience in residential remodeling. Completed formal home inspection training/education and received home inspector certification through the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI). Dean is an ASHI Certified Inspector (ACI). ASHI member #246126, and performs all home inspections according to ASHI standards. Performed over 1,100 inspections in Colorado, including existing homes, new construction, commercial real estate, and historic properties. Proficient in radon measurement techniques and water flow testing and analysis. Certified REAC inspector with HUD (inspector ID #MY3479). Completed formal HUD training course March 30, 2007. Currently conducting REAC inspections in Colorado. FHA Roster Inspector, FHA ID# L149; FHA 203(k) Consultant, ID #D0859
